Provide continuous EKG monitoring, and interpretation of the rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias.  Notifies appropriate staff of arrhythmias.  Oversee the care, maintenance and tracking of telemetry equipment and servicing.  Reports any problems with telemetry equipment to the Telemetry Manager and/or the Bio Med Department. 


High school Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire.  Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate required.  Must have good communication and problem solving skills.  Minimum of six (6) months telemetry monitoring experience and current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
