    Responsibilities

    Under the general direction of a Radiologist, performs a variety of procedures which require specialized training beyond the initial licensing requirements of their specialty.  This person shall be capable of performing mammography procedures, using a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative.  Reports directly to the Breast Center lead technologist and interfaces with the Radiology Manager and Radiologists.

    Qualifications

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; one year CRT experience; training from an AMA approved school and meets requirement for registry by the ARRT required.  American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Mammography License required.  Certified Radiologic Technologist required.  Current CPR certification required.    Breast ultrasound experience and license preferred.
