    Under limited direction, the Laundry Manager is responsible for managing all daily functions of Community Memorial Health System Laundry Operations – which provides laundry service to Community Memorial Hospital, Ojai Valley Community Hospital and our Center for Family Health Clinics.  This position manages the daily activities of staff, handles staffing, scheduling and training, and oversees the overall laundry function throughout the health system.  Incumbent is responsible for overall laundry maintenance, ordering products, supplies, linens and textiles all within departmental budgeted guidelines.  Manages departmental budget, performs staff evaluations and is responsible for the overall development and performance management of the laundry team.  Developments and implements approved departmental policies and procedures.  Ensures staff safety rules and regulations are maintained at all times and participates in hospital performance improvement plan.


    High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a housekeeping/laundry and/or production facility required.  Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a lead or supervisory capacity required.  One (1) year housekeeping/laundry leadership experience in a healthcare setting and CLLM (Certified Laundry & Linen Manager) Certification preferred.
