    Provides care to the total spectrum of patients served by Respiratory Care Services to include patients in acute and critical care areas, pediatrics, Emergency Room, and assist physicians with special procedures (intubation, bronchoscopy, etc.).  Assumes responsibility for the prompt and/or routine execution of physicians’ orders relating to Respiratory Care Services.


    Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.  Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.  Minimum 6 months clinical education/experience required.  Current BLS certification required.  Current PALS certification and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
