    Responsibilities

    Staff Physical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of complex in and outpatient diagnoses.  Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides. Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.  Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.  Current CA Physical Therapy license issued by the Physical Therapy Board and BLS certification required.  Minimum one (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships preferred.  Additional Board Specialty Certification(s) by the APTA preferred.
