    Ojai Valley Community Hospital, an affiliate of Community Memorial Hospital, is a 25 bed general acute care facility designated as a Critical Access Hospital with a distinct part 66 bed skilled nursing facility. OVCH provides inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing services for mostly primary and secondary care needs.  In addition we operate a 24-hour standby emergency department.

    Responsibilities

    Provides experience, knowledge and support to the enterprise-wide implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Allscripts Enterprise EHR, Allscripts Practice Management, and associated applications/systems.

     

    Essential responsibilities include: 

    • Provides analysis, design, trouble-shooting, testing, implementation and routine job support, as required.
    • Provides operational support for applications including data integrity, maintenance, training, and vendor interactions.
    • Provides clear and concise training and documentation on operational processes. Meets with customers, internal and external, assuring documentation is clear and understood.
    • Works with end-users on process and/or workflow improvements.
    • Serves as the primary liaison with Allscripts support for problem resolution and request activities.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in Healthcare Information Technology
    • Specialized knowledge of integrated hospital systems
    • Knowledge in business analysis, clinical workflows, and problem solving

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Allscripts Touchworks support experience
    • Allscripts Practice Management support experience
    • Microsoft Office automation applications
