    Systems Administrator - One (1) Full-Time Position Available

    Position Overview:

    Serving as a technical expert this position is responsible for all aspects of Windows server systems, VMware and related technologies including technical design, planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership in order to provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers. Install, configure and maintain Windows servers on physical and virtual hardware. Analyze and isolate issues. Monitor servers to ensure security and availability. This position is responsible for tier 3 escalation of all system related issues.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

    1. Responsible for overall architecture and design of Windows Server infrastructure network.
    2. Work with vendors to design and deploy new systems and applications.
    3. Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
    4. Participate in security planning and incident response.
    5. Analyze and troubleshoot server issues.
    6. Maintains an awareness of current technology.
    7. Follows established departmental policies and procedures.
    8. Conducts job duties in accordance with departmental standards.
    9. Assists in implementing policies and procedures for the department operation.



    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
    • Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in related role
    • Proficient with Microsoft networking technologies
    • Experience with VMware 5.x and newer, Windows server 2012
    • Working knowledge of Windows systems monitoring and trouble shooting
    • Understanding of TCPIP, DHCP, DNS
    • Strong communication and documentation skills

    • Experience with Exchange, MSSQL
    • SCCM experience
